In my 2010 F150 I get 22mpg highway. Super clean engine, chipped, etc etc. You think that's accurate? I'd say close but again, don't go by that amazing info lol.

I don’t like it. I always thought it’s a safety hazard. If I want to experience the sun, I will park and camp and feel the sun. It’s not for everyone. Have owned a car with one just for the experience. And for me it’s as pointles and unnecessary as a push button trunk/boot door. Just one more part to maintain and look after which makes the car more expensive to maintain overall.

A good deciding factor is how the insulation quality is? We either live in hot weather or cold. So having either and knowing how to choose will be right. Any temperature comparisons using the coldest AC setting? Which last longer? How does 120° weather handles ? It’s alot to spend on that roof which we drivers don’t enjoy while driving just our kids.

The cons are lack of insulation for cold and hot weather months, potential for water ingress if the seals fail and they are a maintenance nightmare when components need to be replaced! If debris from the road strikes it- it's a nightmare to replace! Never keep a car with a panoramic roof beyond the warranty period!

Hi, little late here but is there an electrical connection for the air dam? Did you simply unplug it and let it dangle? Seems the truck with throw and engine light if the air dam was removed and the plug left unplugged?

my 1998 k2500 extended cab long box got 16-17mpg first year of that body style. my 2000 1500 extended cab medium box got 14-16mpg. my 2013 1500 extended cab medium box gets 17mpg. i liked my 98 the best....less b.s. easier to work on still a PITA because GM and metric.....we need to invade and take over canada and fix that...all their dino juice should make it worth the headache.

Other than the tailgate squeak, sometimes it is a loose bolt on the bed causing the bed to rub on the frame rail.

Definitely need a shade!!! Some have shades.

Looks like the wk2 and 2.5-3 budget lift on 32-33 will replace my daily xk commander on the same set up ...i don't off-road it as its my daily but the road are nad enough here in the mountains that it needs to clear better than city folks but 32-33 with spacers and pinch seam cut and fold should fit enough tire to look like should from the factory. Is the wk2 still a 5spd like XK 5.7 with the 545rfe or have they added more speeds /gears to the gear box ... The xk 5.7 pulls 32s pretty well but more gears wouldn't hurt ...lol... can't picture the v6 on more than stock rubber.

Just bought one, I don't think it's a real 4k cause playback video so freaking slow and blurry. Always need to format SD on every start up. Warning only save footages from the past last 3-5hrs. Just get a nextbase way much better for the similar price. Nextbase can save up to the past 3 days worth of footages and much better video quality.
